Configure the Skinr module

April 30, 2010 by Steve

The Skinr is a helper module for themes. Not all themes use Skinr, but Newswire (the theme I'm using) does. See the overview and full documentation on Drupal.org. Skinr allows you to add custom CSS to panels, views, modules, and blocks.

I'm only using it to put rounded corners and a light background on the "About the Author" block over to the right. These settings are in the individual block setup. Go to the Site Building > Blocks page, then configure or create a block. The Skinr section of the block setup page will allow you to change the look.

Skinr has permissions, but they do not affect how it displays, only who can make changes. For my Anonymous site users, no settings needed to be changed.
